Walgreens has announced it is giving up on its exclusive product, Viagra, after it failed to win approval from the U. S. Food and Drug Administration for the drug after the U. FDA rejected its submission. The company has been testing its product on healthy volunteers and is looking for new ways to get its product approved. The firm has been reviewing the approval process in the hopes of winning approval for Viagra in the United States.
The firm is looking for ways to reduce costs for the company by increasing its stock and offering up a limited supply. The company has previously said its product will be available through its website, www.walgreens.com, but it has said that it was not disclosing the name of the product to its customers.
“We are confident that Viagra will be a great product for consumers and the health and wellness industry,” said John M. Bernstein, senior vice president, global sales and communications for Pfizer. “With our focus on creating a new, affordable and health-promoting alternative to prescription drugs, we are committed to helping consumers get the help they need. We are confident that Viagra will be a great product for consumers and the health and wellness industry.”
Viagra, sold as Levitra and Cialis, is the first treatment for erectile dysfunction. It is the first drug to treat the condition. The FDA said it had rejected the drug twice in its first review, in December 2015 and again in July 2016, because of a risk of serious side effects and other risks associated with the drug.
In July, a study by the American Urological Association (AUA) in its March 2017 update to the Food and Drug Administration approved Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In addition, Bernstein said that the company is working with a team of pharmaceutical companies to develop and market products in the United States for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The FDA approved Viagra in May 2015 for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Walgreens will continue to sell its Viagra product and will continue to stock the company’s product as it continues to make Viagra available to its customers. Other products to be sold include the anti-impotence drug Cialis, which can be bought without a prescription for erectile dysfunction, the impotence drug Viagra, which is currently only available through a doctor’s prescription, and the anti-depressant Luvox, which can be bought for depression.
As the company reviews its Viagra product, Bernstein said that it is looking for ways to reduce costs.
